New Year's Eve Party 2013

We enjoyed a wonderful New Year's Eve in our building in the shared space on the 4th floor.  It is a big room with a huge walkout patio.  We decorated in black, silver and gold and had lots of food and drink.  The Ambassador even stopped in for a little bit with his family.
We had karaoke going for awhile and had quite a bit of fun!  At midnight, we had a countdown and welcomed in 2013!!

 

 

 

Cheese!

Kirk's supervisor has a cheese connection and she hooked us up with 20 kilos (about 45 lbs) of Irish Cheddar Cheese!!  The cheese here is terrible so it is great to have good cheese to eat and cook with.  I had to cut this huge block into chunks, which we then wrapped and put in the freezer.  Kirk shredded a bunch also.  We served some of it at our New Year's Eve party.
